As you have a timed entry ticket to One World Observatory, you will start the tour with breathtaking New York City skyline views from the 102nd floor of One World Trade Center, the tallest building in the Western hemisphere. After being on a height of more than 1,200 feet, you will go down to Ground Zero, the site of the former Twin Towers destroyed during the September 11, 2001 attacks. You will pass by the North Tower Pool built in the footprints of the North Tower and get to Oculus, a wing-shaped architectural masterpiece and World Trade Center Transportation Hub, the third biggest in NYC. Get inside, walk around the shopping area and take your best picture in the strikingly white interior of the building. While exploring the World Trade Center campus, you will come across public art such as XO World sculpture, Jasper's Split Star, and vibrant murals appearing here and there — don't miss it. You will continue the tour toward the South Tower Pool and get to the FDNY Memorial Wall, a bronze bas-relief sculpture recognizing firefighters affected by 9/11-related illnesses. Then, you will pass by the Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and National Shrine, which was completely destroyed on 9/11, then fully rebuilt and opened by the 20th anniversary of the event in 2021. You will finish the tour at the Liberty Park to relax, reflect, and recharge after contemplating the present of the World Trade Center that carries significant memories and stories from the past.
