SAM offers vouchers for discounted parking. Russell Investment Centre garage is directly under the museum, and 3rd & Stewart garage is four blocks away.

The main facility of the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The museum is closed on Monday and Tuesday, and on public holidays.
The Museum is normally less busy on weekdays, mornings and late afternoons are the best times to visit to avoid the crowds as much as possible.

From ancient American and Australian Aboriginal art to classical European paintings and prints and Islamic ceramics and watercolours, the collection covers many layers of human culture. All the while, modern and contemporary art is probably best represented at the museum.

Tickets to Seattle Art Museum cost $29.99 for adults, $24.99 for seniors aged 65+ and members of the military (ID required), $19.99 for students (ID required) and teens aged 15-19. Children aged 14 or less go free.
These are advance prices; all tickets cost $3 more when purchased on the day of your visit.
Admission is free to everyone at the Seattle Art Museum downtown on the first Thursday of every month. Every first Friday of the month, tickets cost $5 for seniors.
