The Hollywood Museum is located on Highland Avenue in the old Art Deco Max Factor building. This four-storey museum is suitable to visitors of all ages, since it's a home to more than 10,000 authentic showbiz gems including props, photos, costumes, personal items, film artifacts and car collection.
Start the tour with an insight into "Old Hollywood" where you can see Marylin Monroe's million-dollar dress and hear the story of Bob Hope, the most honored entertainer of all times. Continue by discovering Max Factor’s World-Famous Makeup Rooms with one for each type of leading Hollywood actresses: “Blonde Room” for Marilyn, “Redhead Room” for Lucy Ball. Find out who is featured in "Brownette" and "Brunette" Rooms. Enjoy the original vintage dresses the Pointer Sisters wore on stage along with custom pieces created by top industry designers. The 3rd floor will bring you Back to the Furture and to the world of Batman and Ghostbusters.
Finish the tour at the lower level by visiting the horror room that will give you goose bumps while walking through horror movie sets such as Hannibal Lecter's jail cell from Silence of the Lambs.
