Almost 3,000 animals representing over 350 different species call this historic space home, and meeting them all makes Nashville Zoo one of Tennessee's best family day trips.
Daily talks from the dedicated staff aim to teach you fun facts about the animals...
- •Animals are most active in the morning, especially during the summer. The Zoo is least crowded in the late afternoon
- •No lockers available
- •Animals are not allowed, except service animals
- •Kids under 2 enter for free, no ticket needed
- •Reduced ticket available on-site for military personnel (with military ID)
- •You are welcome to bring your own food, but please refrain from glass, disposable straws and lids and balloons as they can be harmful to the animals
- •Visitors in need of a wheelchair are welcome to rent a manual wheelchair or one of the electric scooters at the Zoo entrance. Wheelchairs are available for rent on a first-come, first-serve basis
