About Nxt Museum
The Nxt Museum is open daily. From Monday to Wednesday, and on Saturdays, it accepts visitors from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM. From Thursday to Saturday, the museum is open from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM.
This place is an indoor experience, so you don’t need to worry about bad weather. If you want to avoid crowds, we suggest visiting this museum on weekdays and in the morning.
This place is the first museum in the Netherlands focused solely on new media art. The Nxt Museum – Digital Art Museum features a host of impressive digital installations that challenge our assumptions about reality and ask us to open our minds. What can you do at this museum?

For example, the current exhibition at the Nxt Museum – UFO: Unidentified Fluid Other – explores the evolution of humanity in the digital world. We’re only starting to enter this new habitat, so nothing is set in stone; everything changes and flows. This exhibit aims to capture this feeling of fluidity and change.

The Nxt Museum is in Amsterdam North; reaching it is easy. From Amsterdam Central Station, you need to board the ferry to Buiksloterweg, cross the river, and take a short walk to Asterweg 22. The closest metro station is Nooderpark station on the Metro 52 line; it’s only 10 minutes away from the museum.
