This 55-acre oasis in the heart of Vancouver boasts over 7,500 plant species and bloomin' marvelous varieties of flora from around the world! Get lost in an amazing cedar tree maze, spot robins, sparrows, and butterflies, and count the stone sculptures and fountains.
The staff here plot out new self-guided tours all the time, so there's always a new route to explore at VanDusen Botanical Garden...
- •Animals are not allowed inside (except for service dogs)
- •Tickets are valid for day admission only and cannot be used for special events like Festival of Lights
- •Children 4 and under enter for free
- •Minimum age without an adult is 13
- •This ticket is NOT valid for Festival of Lights
- •Do not walk in the plant beds
- •Don't feed the animals, pick plants or flowers
- •Don't remove plant labels

- •You can get seasonal self-guided tour pamphlets and/or visitor guide maps at the information desk
- •From 1 Apr - 31 Oct, guided tours are offered by trained volunteers (daily at 13:00, plus Wednesdays at 10:30). From 1 Nov - 31 Mar: only on Sundays at 13:00

- •The VanDusen Gift Shop and The Garden Cafe (Truffles) are open daily during Garden hours.
