  • Explore the hidden peaceful place

Get away from the noise of Paris and crowds of tourists in the Grand Trianon, built by Louis XIV. Learn how the legendary Sun King used this palace, as well as what its original name was and which events took place here. Discover the beauty of the Grand Trianon, heavily influenced by Italian architecture, and walk in the ornate gardens.

  • Immerse yourself in the life of the monarchy

You will find that most of the apartments look as they were years ago. Take a peek into what life or the royal family was like away from the court's prying eyes. Marvel at the magnificent Mirror Drawing Room and admire the Empress's Bedroom.

The Grand Trianon is located in the Estate of Trianon near the Petit Parc. Come to the museum directly through the entrances to the Estate or from the Palace and the gardens.

You can easily reach the Grand Trianon from the town of Versailles through the Grille de la Reine or Porte Saint-Antoine.

Admission by car is €12 per vehicle and free for people with reduced mobility.
