Things to do in Bratislava for self travelers

If you want to see a side of Bratislava that goes way beyond the typical fairy-tale Old Town, you need to do this audio tour. Walking through the communist-era sites was incredibly eye-opening. The narrative was deeply engaging, well-paced, and provided so much historical context that you’d completely miss just walking around on your own. It gives you a real look into the city's 20th-century history and architectural legacy. It's affordable, flexible, and completely fascinating. Highly recommended!

The information was good and interesting. it included both the most important sites, as well as interesting small curiosities. My suggestion for improvement is better navigation. The app does not provide active guidance from point to point (or at least I couldn't find how to use it). Other apps I've used in different cities have done this, and it's very helpful.
