Incredible fortress!Absolutely loved my day trip to Carcassonne. The scale of this fortified city is mind-blowing. Walking the ancient ramparts and visiting the Saint-Nazaire Basilica were the highlights of my trip. It feels a bit like a tourist trap during peak hours, but the breathtaking views make it totally worth it.

Same price as at the ticket office so very useful for queue jumping. Still needed the castle's own audio guide though, as the tiqet own audio guide was very inadequate and a waste of money.

Excellent 90 minutes exploring the chateau then walking the 2 different ramparts. Very enjoyable.
