Our walk starts at the central pier. The first landmark on the route is the best-known buildings of Hong Kong – the two skyscrapers of the International Financial Center.
The local architecture reminds of the colonial heritage – you will learn about it, passing by the Old Supreme Court Building. On the same street, you'll admire the city's fourth-tallest skyscraper made of glass – the tower of the Bank of China. You have to save your strength, so the tour will lead you to the peaceful Hong Kong Park, which houses the world's biggest aviary and the unique Tea Ware Museum.
After leaving the Park, you will head to the beautiful St John's Cathedral – a building you would expect to see in Europe rather than Asia. After the Gothic Revival style, you'll see an example of elegant Georgian architecture – the Government House. Then, you'll have a little rest again once you step into the Zoological and Botanical Gardens.
By the end of our walk, you'll see the imposing Old Police Station on Hollywood Road and admire the extremely popular outdoor escalator. Finally, you'll be invited to enjoy the view from the Victoria Peak, where you'll take a moment to soak in the awe-inspiring views of Hong Kong's landscape and let the energy of this extraordinary city engulf your senses.
Let's embark on this unforgettable journey and explore the Pearl of the Orient!
