Just across the street from Central Park, the American Museum of Natural History represents an enormous collection of plants, minerals, meteorites, animals, fossils, dinosaurs, and human artifacts.     • Parking is available at the 81st Street between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue.

    • Photography for personal use is allowed with hand-held cameras. No selfie sticks. No flash photography in the Space Theater and the LeFrak Theater
    • Masks are strongly recommended, but no longer required, for visitors ages 2 and up
    • On the day of your visit, Wednesday, November 27, you will need to enter the Museum from its Central Park West entrance, due to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day balloon inflation event. Please check amnh.org for more information
    • Guests can visit anytime during their booked date
    • Once through the security check, present your smartphone voucher and a valid ID to the staff at the entrance
    • The Hayden Planetarium will be closed from January 3 to February 16, 2025
