For general visiting, York Minster is open daily from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with special hours on Sundays from 12:45 to 3:15 PM.

The Minster is also open for services and prayer from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with special hours on Sundays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
