- •Assistance dogs are permitted, they need to be registered at the ticket office upon presentation of dog identification card showing that the dog has been trained.

- •By public transport: Tram 14 stops at ARTIS, close to the main entrance. Tram 7 and 19 stop at Alexanderplein, a ten-minute walk from ARTIS. The nearest metro station is Waterlooplein, it is a ten-minute walk to ARTIS
- •By car: Parking is past main entrance (Plantage Kerklaan 40) and costs are €16.00. You can obtain an all-day parking ticket at the ARTIS ticket office during opening hours. You can also pay the hourly rate of €6.30 at the parking payment machine in the car park
