When I’m in Edam, I skip the obvious souvenir stops and head straight for the old center: the Kaaswaag, the leaning canal houses, and the quiet bridges around Schepenmakersdijk are still my favorite attractions in Edam. For what to see in Edam, I always recommend Grote Kerk for its unexpectedly vast interior, then a slow walk along the old shipyards where you really feel the town’s trading past.
