The Museum tends to get very busy during the day, especially between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, so if you wish to avoid noise and crowds, we suggest that you book your time slot in the first couple of hours after opening or before closure.
One of the most-visited museums in the city and in the world, the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam features works by the famous Dutch artist and his contemporaries. The local collection of Van Gogh’s paintings and drawings is the largest that exists. The Museum hosts permanent and temporary exhibitions laid out chronologically in its two buildings, allowing to track the evolution of the artist’s style throughout the years.

- In the Rietveld building, instantly recognisable masterpieces by Van Gogh, including The Potato Eaters, Sunflowers, The Bedroom, and self-portraits — as well as the artist's drawings and letters.

The nearest parking garage is Q-Park (Van Baerlestraat entrance), alternatively you could park in the street for a fee.
Tickets to the Museum cost €20 per person for adults, children and youth under 18 years old go free. Student tickets cost €10 (student card or proof of enrolment is required). The student ticket is not valid on weekends or on national holidays. Please check the for special discounts.
