Wow. The level of detail in the Primitives rooms is extraordinary. And boy do the painters love painting cloth. Also the Navez portrait of the doctor and his daughters from 1832 looks like it could be a publicity shot from the latest television costume drama. Spend your time in the first five rooms (I wasn’t a fan of the 20th century stuff). Totally worth the money
