A fantastic maritime experience in Hamburg.
The Rickmer Rickmers is an impressive historic sailing ship and definitely worth visiting if you enjoy ships, maritime history or photography. Walking through the different decks really gives you the feeling of what life on board used to be like.
The views over the Elbe River and the Port of Hamburg are excellent, especially with the contrast between this beautiful old sailing ship and the huge modern container vessels nearby.
The ship is well preserved, the atmosphere is unique and there are many interesting details to discover throughout the visit.
Highly recommended during a trip to Hamburg.
