Established in 1961 by Holocaust survivors, Holocaust Museum in Los Angeles is the oldest museum of its kind in the United States. The museum houses valuable photographs, documents, artifacts and personal objects that educate on the important history and inspire future generations.
This tour includes museum entry ticket and in-app audio guide that brings you through the highlights and must-sees of the museum. The tour starts with the Tree of Testimony comprising heartbreaking survivor video testimonies. Next, the tour will explain the origins and the pre-text of Nazi movement through several halls representing historic artifacts and personal testimonies of the witnesses. Culmination of the tour is Mass Murder hall where you can see the model of Sobibor concentration camp and prisoners' uniforms. Rescue and Resistance hall as well as Liberation Hall will tell the inspiring stories of those who fought for their freedom and those who moved across Europe in a series of offensives against Nazi Germany. The tour finishes with the touching display of the personal objects from the concentration camps.
