The Grand Canyon South Rim Self-Driving In-App Audio Tour
The Grand Canyon South Rim Self-Driving In-Ap...

Take this self-driving audio tour to explore the magnificent Grand Canyon, the world's natural wonder carved over the course of millions of years by the gradual Colorado River erosion. The tour starts at the Visitor Center, where you can learn how the canyon's geology was formed and developed over millions of years. For thousands of years, the Grand Canyon was inhabited by the Native Americans, whose rich and unique culture you will explore at the recreated Hopi House. You'll also see the remains of one of the first campsites, as well as the old El Tovar Hotel with its rustic charm, and Bright Angel Lodge with the fireplace built of rocks from every period of the Grand Canyon's history. Grand Canyon is all about the awe-inspiring views and special atmosphere. To get a deeper experience, you'll visit the Kolb Studio, an art and photography exhibit on the edge of the rim. Next, you will come to Maricopa Point and learn about a prospector who could have become a millionaire (Spoiler: he didn't!). Then, you will see Powell Point, a place where a ceremony to declare the Grand Canyon a National Park was held. From Hopi Point, you will observe majestic hills named after the Egyptian Gods. Lastly, you'll come to Hermit's Rest, a scenic spot and a perfect conclusion to the tour before going back to Grand Canyon Village. Note: a part of Hermit Road after Kolb Studio is closed to vehicles except for the free shuttle buses from March to the end of November.

The Grand Canyon South Rim Self-Driving In-App Audio Tour
My sisters and I recently went to the Grand Canyon for a day and weren’t real sure how to best see it. We opted for this self-guided tour which you download through the action tour guide app. They explained everything very well and although we did have a question when we got to the park, it was my mistake in following directions, not theirs, and the gentleman who answered my call helped me immediately and so kindly. And we were on our way. It was very easy to use and VERY inexpensive. Ours was $30. And once you load it, you have it forever. I can reuse it as often as I want to. We could go at our own pace, as well, which we really liked. Highly recommend.
