About Whitney Museum of American Art

The general admission fee is $25 for adults and $18 for seniors, students, and visitors with disabilities. The museum offers free entry to its members, children under 18 years old, and caregivers of visitors with disabilities.

Moreover, the museum offers pay-what-you-wish admission on Fridays from 7:00 to 10:00 PM.

The Whitney Museum of American Art is open daily, except for Tuesdays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, and New Year's day, when it is closed. 

The museum is open from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM from Monday through Thursday. There are special working hours on Friday: from 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM. The museum is also open on weekends from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
