The Palau de la Música Catalana, designed by architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was built between 1905 and 1908 as the headquarters of the Orfeó Català. This extraordinary Modernist masterpiece brings together sculpture, mosaics, stained glass, wrought iron and other decorative arts in a spectacular celebration of music and design.
