The Montserrat Mountain and its famous monastery are a symbol of Catalonia. They represent the history, rich traditions, and uniqueness of the region. This tour begins at the Plaça d'Espanya in Barcelona. From the station located under this iconic square, a train will take you to the Montserrat Mountain. Along the way you will have a chance to enjoy scenic Catalan countryside accompanied by the audio commentary that will introduce you to the history of this one-of-a-kind place.
Then to get to the Montserrat Abbey located high on the mountain you will travel on the Rack Railway.
