What a fabulous place. The grounds are lovely - the sculpture/anrt installation exhibits across the whole estate stunning and such a treat. We enjoyed the garden festival but actually they were more like the art installations than gardens and we preferred the actual grounds. In all we were there for more than 5 hours and had it not been meltingly hot we’d have stayed another hour to explore the remaining permanent gardens. Our only gripe was the disappointing sandwich offer and very slow service for what we’re ready made salads and baguettes (cake and ice cream nearly made up for that)
