When I visit Kos for a lively evening, I head straight to Bar Street near Eleftherias Square in Kos Town. It’s the most energetic pocket of Kos after dark, but I usually stick to the side lanes and the harbor end, where the bars feel more local and the music is better. Locals know the area around Diakon and Nafklirou streets is best if you want late cocktails without the full-on party chaos. When I’m in Kos, I slip away from the main seafront and head to Plaka Forest near Antimachia, where peacocks wander under the pines and the air feels much cooler than the coast.
