- •From March 2nd to April 1st, 2026, the Private Apartments area of The National Palace of Pena will be restricted to visitors, due to ongoing works
- •In Sintra, arrange transport from the city to Pena Palace (tuk tuk, taxi, bus, or car)
- •When you get to the castle complex entry, find the line for pre-booked tickets; a staff member will escort you to the priority entrance
- •Then, walk another 10 min uphill to the palace entry (or take the shuttle, arrives every 15 min, €3)
- •The time indicated on the ticket corresponds to the timed entry to the palace (not entry into the park)
- •At the palace entry, show your smartphone ticket to the staff; latecomers will not be admitted
- •Inside the palace, flash photography and tripods are not allowed
- •You can access the park at any time during your visit
