Museum of Liverpool Donation and an Audio Tour with a City Walk

This self-guided audio walking tour explores Liverpool’s riverfront, music heritage, cultural landmarks and communities. Begin beside the River Mersey at the Museum of Liverpool. Please note that the entrance to the Museum is free. This in-app audio tour includes a donation to support the Museum and an audio tour of the museum's must-sees and the surrounding area along a planned route. After your museum visit, pass the Beatles statues at Pier Head and continue to the Cavern Club, where the band found an early audience. The route leads into the cultural quarter, taking in the World Museum, St George’s Hall, Central Library and Walker Art Gallery. From there, continue to Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral and Liverpool Cathedral, before finishing beneath Chinatown’s ornate arch on Nelson Street. Along the way, you’ll take in Liverpool’s striking waterfront, follow the Beatles’ story from public statues to a legendary music venue, and see the contrast between grand civic buildings and the city’s distinctive cathedrals. You’ll end among Chinatown’s restaurants and community spaces.
