Absolutely stunning place - a real fairytale that delivers beyond the pictures. The sights, the azulejos, the poetry of the place is remarkable. I would caution that to see the entire park you need a day on itself to leisurely enjoy it, before visiting other sights in Sintra.

very beautiful park and well maintained pathways accommodating even for the most unprepared tourists (think wrong shoes instead of trekking attire). The history of the place is well explained and highlighted .
