Chenonceau is a beautiful castle, and absolutely worth the visit and the ticket price. Although the castle is open from 09:00 to 18:00, when we got there at 14:00 we did have to wait 2 and a half hours to go into the chateau. They gave us a time to return, and we were able to visit the gardens during our wait. Even so, it was a long wait.
