Château de Versailles was built to amaze. Having more than 2300 rooms, the majestic palace is renowned for its incredible architecture and lavish décor. For over a century it served as the official residence of the French kings. Once a focal point of the European life, it is now a museum. - •If you come by RER, you need to buy an RER ticket and not a Metro one
