The Washington Monument is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The monument is closed on July 4 and December 25.

To avoid crowds of tourists, come to the Washington Monument early in the morning or after 2:00 PM on Wednesday or Thursday.

Set aside at least one hour to spend at the monument.

If you plan to drive, you can park your car on Ohio Drive, between the Lincoln and Jefferson memorials. Street parking is often limited.
