Windsor Castle is open from Thursday to Monday, but opening times vary according to the season.

From 1 March to 31 October, the castle is open from 10:00 AM to 5:15 PM, with the last admission at 4:00 PM. During the winter season, starting from 1 November, you can visit Windsor Castle from 10:00 AM to 4:15 PM, with the last admission at 3:00 PM.

The castle is closed from 25 to 26 December. On 30 June, Windsor Castle is closed from 15:45, with the last admission at 14:30.

The best time to visit Windsor Castle and avoid crowds is during winter. If you plan to visit in the high season, come to the castle during the week and after or during the changing of the guards at 11:00 AM.
