Directions

Madame Tussauds Las Vegas is at The Venetian’s Grand Canal Shoppes, 3377 S Las Vegas Boulevard, Paradise.

Madame Tussauds Las Vegas opened in 1999 at The Venetian, becoming the first Madame Tussauds location in the United States. Its roots go back to Marie Tussaud, who learned wax modeling in eighteenth-century Europe and established a permanent London exhibition in 1835. The Las Vegas branch brought that tradition to the Strip, replacing the hushed atmosphere of a conventional museum with interactive celebrity encounters suited to the city’s entertainment culture. Lifelike wax figures represent performers, film stars, athletes, and other public figures, with themed settings designed for close-up photographs. The lineup changes over time, so individual figures are not guaranteed. In Paradise, the attraction offers a distinctly Las Vegas take on a centuries-old form of popular portraiture.

Before you enter

  • Check the current opening hours before setting out; they may vary by day.
  • Charge your phone or camera if you plan to take photos.
  • Look up the current figure lineup if you hope to see someone specific.

What to expect

  • Expect an indoor attraction centered on lifelike wax figures and themed photo settings.
  • The celebrity lineup can change, so older photos may not reflect what is on display.
  • Plan to spend extra time if you enjoy posing for photographs.

During your visit

  • Take photos from several angles; lighting and backdrops differ between displays.
  • Read any signs before touching figures or entering a photo setting.
  • Give other visitors room to take their photos, especially in narrower areas.
