Milan: Duomo Rooftop Ticket & City Highlights Audio Tour
I booked the 6 PM time slot and went up. I was amazed by the view from the roof and the intricacy of the sculptures. It was a bit disappointing that I couldn't see the sunset due to the season, as the sun sets after 9 PM. After resting sufficiently on the roof, I came down the stairs and was deeply moved by the interior of the cathedral.

The tickets worked great, especially since I bought them the morning that I wanted to go to the rooftop of this magnificent Duomo, and it was worth every penny. The view of the city from up there was wonderful, and to see the artistry and craftsmanship of the church itself was breathtaking. Highly recommended!

Sforza Castle, or Castello Sforzesco, is one of Milan’s defining landmarks, a vast Medieval-Renaissance fortress built in the 15th century by the powerful Sforza family on the site of an earlier medieval stronghold. Over time it served as both a ducal residence and a military fortress, reflecting Milan’s shifting political history. Today, the castle is a major cultural center housing several civic museums and important art collections. Its significance lies not only in its architecture and monumental courtyards, but also in the masterpieces associated with it, including works linked to Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. Set beside Parco Sempione, Sforza Castle remains a symbol of Milan’s artistic heritage and urban identity.
