Great site to visit! We loved the views from the palace and this history of the palace. The park is definitely an overlooked gem. We could have spent the whole day there.
Recommendation: We had a timed entry ticket, which we found a little confusing. We thought we we were supposed to use it at the main entrance and did not realize we had to present before entering the palace itself. We're still not sure if the green shuttle bus we saw took us to the entrance of the park and/or the entrance to the palace. Maybe clearer explanation at the main entrance to Sintra would be most helpful.

That was a really cool place.The Palace is very colourful not too much people at the same time so that’s great! The park is also really pretty to visit. If you like walking you will love the trail to go from Sintra to the Palace of Peña.
