Pre-purchasing tickets made entry super quick and easy. The cathedral is breathtaking! I suggest getting there first thing in the morning to beat the crowds. We had the beautiful tiles pretty much to ourselves before a tour group arrived. It was wonderful!!! We also went on a Tuesday to avoid heavier weekend crowds.

The Porto Cathedral is absolutely phenomenal and one of the most beautiful cathedrals I’ve ever visited. The entrance fee is very affordable and it’s incredible value for what you get.
There were no long queues outside and it never felt crowded inside. In contrast, Livraria Lello was extremely overcrowded and the ticket price felt far too expensive for the experience.
